ABOUT
The Busway is  a fast, frequent and reliable high-quality service linking Houghton Regis, Dunstable and Luton, that opened 6 months late, in September 2013.

The majority of the Busway network is a special guideway between Blackburn Road, on the edge of Houghton Regis, through Dunstable and into a new Luton Interchange by the railway station. Official website: http://www.busway.net/

Journey times between Dunstable and Luton have been cut from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.

Usual fare concessions apply and opening fares were £4.20 for a day's travel in the local area on Arriva buses, £3.50 a day on Centrebus, or £4.60 a day for a Hip Hop ticket that includes Centrebus and the Grant Palmer bus services that use the busway. Fare increase on Arriva due from 5 July 2015. More fares and ticket prices can be found at Central Bedfordshire website.
