Bedfordshire Watch Schemes Report a Busy Month in August 2021

Street Watch, Dog Watch, Horse Watch August 2021

  • 394 hours of patrol - 30 incident reports - 7 engagement events - Dog & Horse watch completed 108 hours of patrols.

Countywide Watch volunteers have completed a total of 502 hours of patrols in August.

Street watch has been targeting residential areas where antisocial behaviour has been reported, whilst our dog watch volunteers concentrate their patrols on areas where local residents walk their dogs.

The Horse Watch volunteers in their unique position are able to patrol areas off the beaten track providing valuable reassurance in our most rural of communities.

28 volunteers complete their conflict management training this month.
