Ashberry Homes New Showhome Open At Bidwell

The doors to a new showhome have been opened at a housing development in Bidwell.

Housebuilder Ashberry Homes is building 88 one, two, three and four-bedroom homes alongside public open space at Chalk Fields, off Thorn Road.

The development is part of a new neighbourhood to the north of Houghton Regis, just two miles from the centre of Dunstable. It will provide up to 1,850 new homes when complete.

House-hunters can book a one-to-one appointment with the sales team to visit the new four-bedroom Crawley showhome, with safety measures in place. The showhome is spread across three storeys and features an open-plan kitchen/dining room, a living room overlooking the garden and an en suite shower room and dressing room to the master bedroom on the top floor.

Rhiannon Jones, Head of Sales for Ashberry Homes Eastern Counties, said, “With building work on the homes at Chalk Fields progressing well, we felt it was the ideal time to open a new showhome and give people the chance to gain an insight into the homes on offer.

“The Crawley is a modern four-bedroom home, which has been designed to give growing families all the space they could need. Visitors to the showhome have praised the light and airy feel of the property, which has been achieved through the large windows at the front.

“Bidwell is a fantastic addition to the local area and offers something for all types of buyers, with access to acres of open countryside, shops and sports facilities, as well as being within commuting distance of London.

“We have already had a great deal of interest in the homes at Chalk Fields, and with the first homes now occupied, I would encourage anyone interested to book an appointment with our sales team to find out more.”

There is currently a range of three and four-bedroom homes available to buy at Chalk Fields, with prices starting at £284,995.

The wider Bidwell development is set to contribute almost £5.4m towards local education facilities, highway improvements, public transport and off-site indoor and outdoor sports facilities, as part of the planning deal with Central Bedfordshire Council.
