Bellway's Brambleside Show Homes at Thorn

Construction is progressing apace at a new homes development in Houghton Regis, with two showhomes now open on-site.

Bellway is currently building the first phase of houses at its Brambleside development, which will comprise 165 two, three and four-bedroom homes off Thorn Road to the west of Bidwell.
The development will include public open space, orchards, a footpath/cycle route and a children’s play area alongside the new homes.

The showhomes – a four-bedroom Wetheral and three-bedroom detached Wendover – launched earlier in the year and followed the opening of the development to the public in October.
Sales Manager for Bellway Northern Home Counties, Lindsey Davenport, said: “We are very pleased with how work at Brambleside has progressed so far.

“Now that we have unveiled the showhomes at the development, prospective customers can come to explore and get a real feel of what it might be like to live in a new home here, with homes reserving fast.

“Since opening up the sales office in October last year, we have seen a tremendous amount of interest from people both living locally and from outside of Houghton Regis.

“People like the prospect of living in an appealing new community, close to open countryside and with excellent transport links, especially rail services from Luton into London St Pancras.
“We anticipate that the launch of these new showhomes will only increase the number of people who will be keen on reserving their new home at Brambleside.”

There’s currently a choice of three and four-bedroom houses available to reserve at Brambleside, with prices starting from £360,000.

Footnote

News Desk asked Bellway's PR agency today, 23 March 2020, if the showhomes were open in the light of coronavirus. They responded, “Showhomes are currently open for viewing and are set to remain open until further notice.”
News Desk would not advocate anyone to visit the showhomes but if they must, then to stand nowhere near another person at the showhomes, to take notice of social distancing guidance, and do not touch anything that may have been touched by another person in the past 72 hours.
