Bug Walks and Nature Activities At Rushmere Park

Visit Rushmere Park for a family-fun day of nature activities and guided walks, exploring rare heathland habitats and the wildlife who live there, including a tour of new Heathland Sculpture Trail.

This event is free to attend (though the £3 parking charge still applies) and no booking is required - just turn up!

These events are among over 50 events, activities, exhibitions, talks and competitions taking place as part of Greensand Country Festival (26 May - 3 June) celebrating the distinctive, beautiful and loved countryside along the Greensand Ridge from Leighton Buzzard to Gamlingay - for more information on this visit www.greensandcountry.com.

The festival is being organised by the Greensand Country Landscape Partnership which is led by the Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity and The Greensand Trust and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
