Get Involved More With Your Local Hospital - Medical Lecture at L&D Hospital

Did you know that the local hospital offers many opportunities for local people to find out how the hospital service is run?

Medical Lecture
A Medical Lecture will be held on the Wednesday, 14th of October, 2015 and members of the public are invited.  The title of the medical lecture is End of Life Care.  This will be presented by the teams who are involved in delivering end of life care.  There will be time for questions following the presentation.  If you would like to know more about caring for the elderly please contact the hospital in order to book a place as only limited spaces are available.  The lecture will take place from at 6.00 PM to 7.30 PM on Wednesday, 14 October 2015 in of the Luton six the former college, rages hill road, Luton, LU 2 space seven a EW.  There  is an opportunity for informal discussion with the Luton and Dunstable governors from 5.30 PM.  To book a place you can contact FTmembership@LDH.NHS.UK, or by calling them on 01582 718333.

Your Opinions Wanted - Annual Members Meeting
An opportunity to find out all you need to know about owls the hospital has been performing over the past year.  Meet your governor representatives and staff from the hospital this will be held on Thursday, 24 September, 5 30 PM for a 6.00 PM start at the L & D Hospital Social Club Calnwood Road Luton LU4 0DZ.

Council of Governors Meeting
These meetings are held at 6.30 PM at the John Pickles L & D, Comet Lecture Hall.  Dates are 21 October, 16 December.  All welcome.
