Young People, Imagination, Film Premiere!

Story fixers at Houghton Regis library
Young people in Houghton Regis have taken part in film-making over the summer holidays, culminating in a film premier at Houghton Regis Library last Friday evening.

During the sessions up to 14 young people were involved in working with Full House Theatre to create a storyboard, decide on characters, write a script and rehearse their scenes. They got involved in deciding on roles like director, and acting roles.

Beyond that, they worked with a professional set and costume designer to design and create costumes and set for their short film. Next there was the storyboard, script, set and costumes to be sorted out, rehearse their films, and select a soundtrack.

Next, the young people worked with a professional film crew and the Full House Team who edited the shot scenes. The whole process was completed for the premier on Friday 29th August.

The presentation of the film to a select audience included fruit juice and popcorn!
