Houghton Regis Vacant Co-op Site to be Re-Possessed by Council

Central Bedfordshire Council has reached an agreement with the Co-operative Group for the Houghton Regis site to be returned to the Council with vacant possession within eighteen months.

“We’re really pleased to have reached this important agreement with the Co-operative.  As part of our vision to  keep Central Bedfordshire as great place to live and work,  we want to maximise the potential of key town centre sites and the Houghton Regis land creates exciting opportunities for us to explore.  Now we’ll be working hard to make sure these are realised” said Jason Longhurst, Director of Regeneration at the Council.
