Have your say on the future development of Central Bedfordshire

Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) want your views on the Development Strategy, a new planning policy document that will play a huge part in shaping the future in Central Bedfordshire.

The Development Strategy will set out how much growth and development will need to be planned for, in areas such as housing, employment and retail. It will also suggest broadly where this should go. At a more detailed level, the Strategy will set out detailed policies to help determine planning applications.

Please read this document (PDF 546KB) which sets out the issues and targets for development within Central Bedfordshire and the complete this online form by 28 March 2012. Paper copies of the documents will be available from libraries, customer contact centres or can be sent by post on request.

CBC will also be holding a series of workshops to discuss the Strategy. Details of these are as follows:
